Text messages from TravelPal
TravelPal texts a guest about their own stay, and only after the guest signs up on their stay page. This page shows how that works.
Who sends the texts
TravelPal sends them, from (808) 400-1662, and every text names TravelPal. We text guests of the vacation rental companies and hotels that use TravelPal, and only about their own booking.
How a guest signs up
Each guest gets a private stay page for their booking. On that page there is a box called “Get texts about your stay”. The guest types a mobile number and ticks a box. The box starts unticked. Nothing is sent unless the guest ticks it and presses “Text me”. A booking alone never signs anyone up.

The words beside the box
The guest reads these words before they tick the box:
Yes, TravelPal may text me about my stay with [company name]: my stay link, check-in details, reminders, answers to my questions, and offers for my stay. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. Terms: asktravelpal.com/terms#terms-sms Privacy: asktravelpal.com/privacy
We keep a record of each sign-up: the number, the date and time, the stay, and the exact words the guest was shown.

What we send
- The link to the guest’s stay page.
- Check-in and check-out details, and reminders.
- Answers to questions the guest texts us.
- Offers for the stay, such as an early check-in or a late checkout.
Message frequency varies with the stay. Message and data rates may apply.
An example of the first text a guest gets:
TravelPal: Thanks for signing up for texts about your stay at Tresor 2-916 with Bayside Property Management. Msg frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help.
How to stop, or get help
Reply STOP to any text and we stop texting that number. Reply HELP for help, or email eddy@travelpal.ai. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your number
We use a guest’s number only to text them about their stay. We never sell it, and we never share it with anyone for their marketing. The full rules are in our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
