The link opens the Resolution Center for the guest's own booking. TravelPal gives the exact amount and the words for the note.
The guest presses Send
The guest chooses Send money and enters the exact amount. Then the guest writes the item in the note and presses Send.
The sale finishes where your team works
Your team records the payment on the folio (the booking's payment list) in your property management system. TravelPal reads the payment there and moves the time on the booking. It adds a team-only note to the chat, and your team is told.

VRBO, Booking.com and direct-booking guests get a link to a secure Stripe checkout page. It shows the exact item and amount. They pay in the browser, and that is all.

Both ways end the same. The sale is finished, the money is in your own account, and your team is told.
Sales that finish by themselves
A card payment finishes the sale and updates the booking automatically. Nobody on your team has to remember it. A Resolution Center payment finishes the sale as soon as your team records it on the folio.
Your money, your account
Card payments go to your company's own Stripe account, never TravelPal's. There is no commission on upsells. The whole product has one flat price per unit each month.

Keep Airbnb guests fully in the Resolution Center. Or offer links to pay by card everywhere. Or use both. Then guests pay by card on their own guidebook page. In the chat, they use the Resolution Center.
Never a broken link
A guest who is ready to pay should get the right link. TravelPal's own system writes the payment instructions. The AI copies them exactly. It never builds a link or calculates an amount. If no payment link can be built, the guest is told a person will follow up.
TravelPal never collects a booking payment. An extra night is booked where the guest booked the stay, and you approve it there. Everything TravelPal collects is a paid extra during the stay, priced from your own price list. TravelPal writes each sale into your property management system, when it is connected.

Is this the booking payment?
No. TravelPal never handles the money for the booking. The guest pays the nightly rate where they booked. TravelPal collects payment only for paid extras during the stay: late checkout, early check-in, mid-stay cleaning, damage waiver. An extra night changes the booking, so the guest books it where they booked the stay.
What exactly does an Airbnb guest do?
The guest opens the Resolution Center link for their own booking and chooses Send money. Then they enter the exact amount, write the item in the note and press Send. TravelPal gives the link, the amount and the words. Your team confirms once the money arrives.
How do VRBO and Booking.com guests pay?
By card. Guests who booked anywhere other than Airbnb get a secure payment link for the exact item and amount. They pay in the browser. The booking updates automatically as soon as the payment is complete. The money goes to your company's own Stripe account, never to TravelPal's.
Can Airbnb guests pay by card instead?
Yes. That is your choice, for each place where the guest pays. Keep everything in the Resolution Center, or use links to pay by card everywhere. Or mix them: the guest's guidebook page offers card payment, and the chat keeps the Resolution Center.
