White-glove onboarding
Getting started with TravelPal is one form plus a founder at your side. You paste an API key from the system you already run, your listings import themselves, and guided setup sessions with a founder are included in the flat price.
TravelPal is an AI guest messaging and upsell tool for vacation rental property managers, connecting to 33 property management systems including Guesty and Hostaway, priced at $25 per unit per month. The technical half of setup is covered on the integrations page; this page is about how little of it lands on your team.

The four steps of onboarding
Nothing here is figure-it-out-yourself. A founder is in the room for the first and last step, and the two in the middle happen mostly on their own.
- Step 1
Talk to a founder
Every setup starts with a 30 minute demo on real guest messages. Book it on the contact page or email us; ask anything.

Connect your system, one form
Create an API key in your property management system, in Guesty for example, and paste it into TravelPal. The credentials are validated on the spot, and the webhook registers itself; there is nothing else to configure.
Nothing else to configure - Step 3
Watch everything flow in
Listings import themselves in the background and appear as properties. From then on every new reservation gets its guest link automatically, and a cancellation revokes it.

Set up together
In guided sessions, a founder helps your team set upsell prices, train the concierge on your past conversations, and put your logo and brand color on every guest-facing page.

The getting-started guide in your dashboard
The getting-started guide inside the dashboard has exactly two required steps, add your properties and connect a first guest, plus two optional ones, training and branding. Completion is read from your live account, not from a checklist you maintain: connect your system anywhere and the step ticks itself.
Guest links are delivered through that same system, so your own inbox shows exactly what each guest was told.
Prefer the short version? What onboarding involves covers the same ground in three paragraphs.
What onboarding never asks of you
White glove means the work moves to us and to the software, not to a longer to-do list with your name on it.
No setup fee
Onboarding, guided sessions included, is part of the flat $25 per unit per month. The first month costs the same as every month after.
No re-typing your listings
The listing content your team already maintains in its own system becomes what the AI answers from. Nothing is entered twice or kept in two places.
No new inbox to watch
Every message TravelPal sends goes out through the inbox you already have, never around it. It can also learn your properties from that same inbox: teach the AI your properties shows how.
No one-way doors
Nothing reads your message history until you click Train yourself, disconnecting stops webhook traffic on the spot, and reconnecting later is safe.
Getting started FAQ
How long does onboarding take?
There is no fixed duration. The form itself is one paste: TravelPal validates your API key on the spot and the listing import starts immediately in the background. The guided part runs at your team's pace, and a founder stays hands-on until you are comfortable.
Do I need a developer?
No. The only technical step is creating an API key inside your own property management system, for example in Guesty under Settings, then Integrations, then API, and pasting it into TravelPal. Bad credentials are rejected on the spot, and the connection sets up its own event feed wherever that system supports one.
What does onboarding cost?
Nothing beyond the $25 per unit per month. There is no onboarding fee and no charge for the guided sessions; the price on the pricing page is the whole bill.
