How does TravelPal work with my cleaning crew's schedule?
TravelPal never sells an hour your cleaners need, and every sold change lands where your team already looks: a note and a time change on the Guesty reservation, plus a team chat message and an email. Your team schedules the crew exactly as they do today.
Turnovers are protected automatically
A late checkout is never sold when another confirmed reservation takes the unit the day your guest leaves, whatever it would earn. The mirror rule holds for arrivals: early check-in is refused when a prior guest vacates the unit that same day, because an early arrival consumes exactly the window the cleaners need. Both checks fail safe, and the availability check runs before pricing, so the AI is never even shown a price for an hour it cannot sell.
You set the notice your crew needs
You tell TravelPal how much notice your cleaning crew needs, in hours, from zero for a team with staff on site up to two weeks. A sale inside that window is refused and the guest's booking page grays those slots out. The window is measured in the property's own timezone, because a cleaner is dispatched on local time.
Mid-stay cleanings are only sold with a guest-chosen day and hour, never guessed, because a day and an hour are what a housekeeping team schedules on. And the checkout-day cleaning is never sold at all: that day's clean is the turnover, already somebody's job.
How your crew finds out
TravelPal does not message cleaning crews directly. Instead, every sale tells your team three ways at once: a message in your team channel, an email, and a note written into the Guesty reservation itself, the place the next person to open that booking will look. A paid late checkout also writes the new time back onto the reservation, so a crew working from Guesty sees the real checkout time, not the old one. Your team schedules the crew the way they do today, with the change already visible everywhere they look.
