How does TravelPal sell early check-in?
When you turn it on, the AI offers early check-in in chat, quotes the exact price from your rate card, and sends payment steps for the channel the guest booked on. Nothing is booked until the payment actually goes through.
Your prices, to the cent
Rates are yours and priced per reservation: a flat amount, a percentage of that reservation's nightly rate, or, for arriving a full day early, the price of a night. The AI is barred from stating any number its pricing check did not return for that exact reservation, so a guest never hears an invented figure. The revenue is yours too: the flat $25 per unit per month is the whole price, and TravelPal takes no cut of upsells.
The cleaning turnover comes first
Before it sells, TravelPal checks the turnover. If another reservation checks out of that unit the same day the guest arrives, early check-in is refused automatically, because an early arrival consumes exactly the window your cleaners need. The check fails safe: when in doubt, it does not sell, and nothing overrides it.
You also set a selling window, how far ahead offers open and how close to arrival they stop, and requests outside it are refused; a price already quoted to a guest is honored past the window's close. There is more on the crew side of this in how TravelPal works with your cleaning crew's schedule.
Payment, and what happens after
Airbnb guests pay inside Airbnb, and guests from other channels pay a secure card link, with the reservation updating as soon as the card payment goes through; the details are in how Airbnb guests pay for upsells. A sold early check-in moves the reservation's planned arrival time in Guesty, so your team and your tools see the real time. TravelPal can also offer early check-in proactively to eligible guests, inside a lead time you choose, running the exact same checks before it ever names a price.
